Wen Jianping, deputy GM of Beijing-based TV market research firm A-View Consulting, revealed on October 9 that Chinese TFT-LCD manufacturer BOE (000725.SZ; 200725.SZ) is in talks with the municipal government of Chongqing about investing RMB 28 bln to construct its third 8.5G LCD panel production line in the municipality's Shuitu Technology Industrial Development Zone.
